                        Fun Fact

Ginkgo biloba, native to China, is the only plant left of the Ginkgophyta. All of the other species are extinct! It is a living fossil that has survived 270 million years!

                        Ginkgo Research

Multiple human studies were found on the use of ginkgo to help with memory, including dementia and Alzheimer's disease. A few human studies have also shown it may help with depression and anxiety. Further, some human studies were found assessing ginkgo for ringing in the ears, visual impairments, and altitude sickness. These conditions maybe improved related to increasing blood flow. Ginkgo was also mentioned in studies as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and to reduce cholesterol; more research is needed. Click the button below for a detailed review of research.
