This rose petal jam recipe is divine, with roses imparting a fruity, velvety, and slightly sweet flavor. Turn a piece of toast into a luxurious breakfast, or dress up pancakes for the holidays with this fancy spread.
Rose Petal Jam Ingredients
- 3 cups of apple juice
- 1 pealed apple, sliced into small pieces
- 1 cup of raspberries
- 1 cup of cranberries
- 1 can of mandarin oranges
- 1 cup of organically grown and rinsed rose petals, minced
- 1/2 cup of honey
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
Rose Petal Jam Instructions
Bring 3 cups of apple juice, apple, berries, and oranges to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add rose petals. Set aside for 5 minutes. Add every ingredient, including the honey and vanilla extract to a blender on medium for about 30 seconds. Pour back into the pan and simmer on low about 1 hour until it thickens. Pour into glass jars. Add lid and refrigerate when cooled. Store up to two weeks.
